Potential Leak on forced channel close during load

    Description

      When the channel is closed forcefully there might be an in-flight request that is not properly cleaned up. It shoul d not cause any real trouble (because there is only a very minor amount of data leaked, nothing continuous), but it shows up with the leak detector and needs to be fixed at some point.
