We only do very basic storage settings but there are more knobs that can be twiddled, not that anyone has asked for them...
Perry's request is that we also allow indexes to be defined. While I would usually be dismissive that it's a data plane problem, I can also see that apps checking for an initializing indexes isn't exactly intuitive (perhaps I'm too old skool with my CREATE TABLE 'blah' IF NOT EXISTS)
Using the go SDK is an option and we just fire off SQL queries, but I get the sneaking suspicion that things will be technically challenging, albeit relatively simple. We also have to be careful not to allow people to use arbitrary SQL because people.
