          Ashwin,

We are able to change these parameters, but when we do ns_server restarts the bucket and that leads to some down time. This is the expected behavior when changing these setting and the operator isn't doing anything special when doing so. A while back support asked for a warning message to be printed when these parameters get changed and that's why we added it. Let me know if you have any other questions about this.

I think it was just a mistake. If you download and install Couchbase outside of Kubernetes you will see that you can change these parameters. My guess is that someone saw the warning and thought that it meant that you could not change the parameters.

          Updating the test case accordingly.
