Add more clear implimentation examples for public connectivity

During the GA readiness review for 1.2, a shared opinion was expressed that we should offer a better picture of implementation for public connectivity, particularly around setting up the automated DNS component.

We could actually build this as an external tutorial that the DA team can maintain once we're finished. I think we should walk through an example that uses all of the necessary components.
