No error message is shown if initial cluster join fails

1) Create a new northscale server
2) In the initial web setup choose for it not to join another cluster
3) Finish the setup for the first server
4) Create a second northscale server
5) In the initial web setup have it join another cluster
6) In the new dialog box, put in the IP of the first server and click "join cluster" but don't enter the username/password
7) The system will kick you back to step 2/3 of "Configure Server" with no error message even though the node did not join the cluster
