Description
Customer is unable to install and start Couchbase service 2.5.x or 3.0.3 on RedHat Linux 6.6.
This is apparently the same problem reported in MB-12536 generically for CentOS6.6, but the workarounds given in that MB do not work on RedHat.
Note that prior to filing this MB I created VMs with both CentOS 6.6 and Oracle Linux 6.6 and was able to start the service without problems using
.
sudo service couchbase-server restart
.
however that does not work for the customer's RedHat Linux. I am unable to locate an install iso for RedHat 6.6 and so I cannot test that specific version.
