Description
Ritam - for you to triage. If you need the machine to test etc just ping me. The scenario I tested is
- run a regular build-sanity
- once completed, logged into that VM and did "service couchbase-server stop"
- it took about 2-3 minutes, and then said "OK"
- ps on couchbase services shows that most of the couchbase server processes are still running.
- pkill beam.smp (kills beam.smp and associated processes, except memcached and epmd)
- pkill epmd (kills epmd)
- pkill memcached (doesn't kill memcached)
- the only way to kill memcached is to do kill -9 on the pid
