Description
Browsers autocorrect, autocapitalize, and spellcheck text within HTML inputs (<input type="text">) and textareas. For the purpose of a web application such as ours, this is almost never useful and is, instead, a glaring distraction (red, wavy lines in Chrome/Mac).
This behavior can be suppressed at the level of individual HTML controls by including autocorrect="off" autocapitalize="off" spellcheck="false" in the tag.
