[FTS] Upgrade from 4.5.0 to 4.6 : Rebalance-in of a 4.6 node hangs when FTS indexes are present on the 4.5.0 cluster

    Description

      Build : 4.6.0-3552 (RC1)

      Cluster has 2 kv+fts nodes at 4.5.0-2601 (10.111.151.101 & 10.111.151.102). There are 2 FTS indexes created on this cluster.
      Adding one 4.6.0-3552 kv+fts node (10.111.151.103). Rebalance-in hangs at 50% for all 3 nodes.

      Tried the same scenario, but after deleting the FTS indexes, online upgrade using swap rebalance worked fine.

      Since the users are going to be advised to delete the FTS indexes for upgrading to Spock, they should also be informed the same for upgrading to 4.6, otherwise the upgrades might be impacted.
