Description

It would be nice to update all N1QL datetime functions to accept a "weekday" part which is the English name of the day, in addition to number of the day.

Note that WEEKDAY() returns strings, whereas DATE_PART() returns number.

Hi , I don't remember the reason we went with a new function, but the functionality is equivalent. You can document the feature as a new function.

Prasad Varakur April 12, 2017 at 4:37 PM

thanks . What is the reason for adding new functions, instead of not adding a new part similar to bunch of other parts to use with date_part_str()/date_part_millis()?
