It should be done in a backwards compatible way, likely adding a backwards compatible flag to the BucketDataSourceOptions struct that allows the user to specify that they want XATTRS...

There are other backwards compatible issues, like when an XATTRS-capable cbdatasource is told to connect to an old KV server (which doesn't support XATTRS)
