Investigate how corrupted Couchstore files are handled by recovery tools

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

_emphasized text_Relating to MB-23550, when a couchstore file becomes corrupted we should be able to recover as much of the data in that file as possible.

This task is to verify the current status of such recovery (e.g. couch_dbdump / cbtransfer), and enhance such that we recover as much as possible.

For example: If only the Body of a single document in a couchstore file is corrupted (bad CRC32), we /should/ be able to recover all other documents in the file.
