Description
When backing up a bucket using cbbackupmgr, there is a mismatch between the number of documents in the bucket in the cluster administrator, vs. the output of the cbbackupmgr command. Please see the attached screenshot (itemCountMisMatch.png) which shows the mismatch. I am guessing this is because deleted documents are counted. There are a few other bugs (MB-21924 , MB-21962) that may be related.
Replication procedure:
- Create a backup of a bucket which has experienced a number of mutations. Would suggest having at least 1MM documents.
- Run cbbackupmgr, and note the difference between the number of documents reported by the cluster admin, and the number of documents in the output of the cbbackupmgr command.
Please let me know if you need additional information.
Jack,
I'm marking this as done because I don't think this is an issue and there are no log attached for me to even verify whether or not an issue exists. When we do a backup deletes count as items so I don't expect a full backup to match the current number of items in the cluster.
If you want me to look into this further to verify I will need the backup files so that I can count the number of deletes. If you want me to do that please reopen this issue and attach the logs. Also, can you get your JIRA account setup so I can assign issues back to you? Normally I would leave this open and assign it to you to get more information, but since I can't do that I'm marking it as done for now.
