    Description

      Currently, LDAP is only supported for Couchbase Server running on Linux (because saslauthd only works on Linux is my understanding). Couchbase Server deployments to Windows should be able to use LDAP too.

      Notes: [~don] asked me to open this ticket so we could track any users/customers who might want this feature (for prioritization reason). He thought there was already a ticket, but we couldn't find it. The closest we found is DOC-527.
