    Description

      We currently only support STR_TO_* conversion of ISO 8601 and Epoch times [STR_TO_DURATION, STR_TO_MILLIS etc.]. Often times, customers get data streamed in and have little or no control of formatting date values without undergoing onerous parse of the strings.

       

      It would be beneficial to support STR_TO_*("date string",fmt) functions so that they user can specify what the format is without having to split and parse the string manually to convert and compare it.
