    Description

      Problem
Currently the node name is store in format the user types it in, include the capitalisation case. This feel a little "ugly" but surprisingly it has not cased us any problems. It is worth noting that Windows like to capitalise the hostname at times.

      Suggestion
As the node name is the DNS hostname which is case insensitive it seem correct to store it as lower case.
