The outside world is not reachable from the VM that's being used. Ping to google.com doesn't work on that machine. Hence the error.

Don Pinto [X] As you can see the reason for failure returned by the http package is a nested structure. The reason is "enetunreach" in this case and practically there could be many other reasons for the failure. We would have to write a parser to convert the "reason" to a user consumable string (as there is no API to do it). So, I am not sure if it's worth the effort. Alternatively, we need not print the "reason" in the UI (just saying reachability failed) and add a debug log to provide more details. In any case, that change wouldn't be in the purview of this bug.

As stated in an earlier comment, the reason for this failure is that the VM on which "upload logs" feature was tested didn't have access to the outside world. Closing this bug for now. Please re-open it if you still see the problem on a server which has external world access.
