[GSI] Indexer stuck when indexing counter/integer document created by Sync Gateway

    Description

      When Sync Gateway initially connects to the Couchbase bucket it creates the sequence counter document. The document  looks like this:

      KEY: _sync:seq
      VALUE: 1

       

      If try to create an index (any index, even primary) on the bucket indexer stuck in "building" phase when reaching this document. E.g. if bucket contains only this one document it will stuck right away.

      This only happens with the doc created by SG via SDK. If create similar document manually from UI indexer works fine.

       

      The issue started to happen in vulcan build 5.1.0-1539.
