Idle metadata bucket load by eventing service

    Description

      During a demo, we saw idle usage of 2k ops/sec on metadata bucket without much things being deployed. We need to ensure that this is lower as people may setup on a laptop etc, and this may be too high. We also need to profile the ops to ensure all operations are expected.
