    Description

      From the cpu profile of AG2 aggregate pushdown query, 25% of the CPU is being spent in query expression Evaluate and annotatedValue SetCover methods(profile attached). Filing this ticket to explore optimizing these further. 

      GSI code calling into these 2 functions is in the file https://github.com/couchbase/indexing/blob/master/secondary/indexer/scan_pipeline.go. 

      If there is a more optimal way of working with these methods than what GSI is doing today, we can adapt our code to do that as well.
