Improve GC load for expressions

This is not too dissimilar from MB-26489, but for the expression package.
Essentially, for every expression term, we allocate a base (function,...) fill it up,
copy it on the term base and ditch it.
We should populate the term base directly without all this GC load.
This is particularly important because expression terms are more widely used than execution operators.
