      See also MB-38521 where we had to fix a bug due to the way we shutdown (DcpProducers and BackfillManagers).

      Ideally we would just leave the BackfillMgr object as is (perhaps reset the internals of it) and only reset the ptr in the destructor of the DcpProducer.
