    Description

Start a Chrome browser with two (2) tabs login into a new source build couchbase-server/mad-hatter.xml (mine was done at Fri 17 Apr 2020 03:03:04 PM PDT)

      • Goto an "empty" eventing screen
      • Open the developer tools
      • Select Network
      • Select XHR
      • Filter on "stat "  that is stat with a blank space
      • Hit a browser refresh
      • Goto the Eventing screen (it should be empty)

Notice that every two seconds a "status" request is made, this is normal.

      • Goto the View screen (it should be empty)

Notice that the Eventing "status" request is stoped, this is normal.

      • Goto back to the Eventing screen

Notice that every two seconds a "status" request is made, this is normal.

      Now lets create the issue

      • In the browser select the second TAB and make it active
      • Wait 2 seconds
      • In the browser select the the COuchbase UI TAB and make it active

Notice that you now see "_uistats" request this didn't use to happen nor does the Evening code currently make _uistats requests (there is a gerrit patch to do this but it is not part of the baseline).

Refresh the browser and the issue will go away

The issue is not limited to the Eventing view

      • Goto back to the View screen
      • Hit a browser refresh

      There are no "_uistats" requests

Now lets create the issue again but in "View"

      • In the browser select the second TAB and make it active
      • Wait 2 seconds
      • In the browser select the the Couchbase UI TAB and make it active

Notice that you now see "_uistats" requests in this case too.
