Scalability - optimize 5 sec /getIndexStatus calls from UI

    Description

      UI calls /getIndexStatus REST endpoint every 5 seconds and the index node receiving the request in turn collects the index status from all indexer nodes. With 1000s of indexes, this mechanism needs to be revisited. This activity keeps happening even if nobody is looking at the UI.
