Description
Scenario:
- 4 node cluster initially running on 6.5.0-4960
- Open Java SDK connection (Alive through out the test)
- Load 50K docs initially on couchbase bucket with replicas=1
- Upgrade all 4 nodes one by one using online swap_rebalance method
- Finally all 4 nodes are running with 7.0.0-4347 (Still SDK connection is alive)
- Create new scopes/collections using REST API (successful)
- Load data into new collections (using the same client opened at step #2)
Observation:
Post upgrade data loading fails on created collections due to FeatureNotAvailable exception
'error': 'com.couchbase.client.core.error.FeatureNotAvailableException | Collections are not supported (or enabled) on the cluster'
|
Expected behavior:
Data loading should work fine using the old sdk connections
