[CX] Remove unsafe uses of URI.getHost()/getPort()/getUserInfo()

    Description

      java.net.URI.getHost()/getPort()/getUserInfo() do not return valid values for if the hostname in the URI contains an underscore. We should ensure we don't rely on these methods.
