Description
There are portions of cb_epmd that can be removed as we no longer support pre-6.5 nodes. Here's an applicable slack exchange

Is cb_epmd.erl needed in Neo? Is it only for pre-6.5 nodes to find the Neo node? If so, since we don't support pre-6.5 nodes cb_epmd.erl can be removed?

I think we need it. We use it to calculate ports for erlang nodes. Maybe some parts can be removed though.

AFAIR we added cb_epmd in 6.5. If so, we can remove parts that call erl_epmd I think
