    Description

      Build: 7.1.0-2383

      Scenario:

      • 2 node cluster, couchbase bucket with replica=1
      • Create a document from UI of len ~200 bytes
      • Then immediately update the same document by adding more data, making the size ~1MB and save again

      Observation:

"Total Disk Create Rate" and "Disk update rate" stats are reporting non-zero values in the Dashboard.

Dashboard (All services) -> Data -> Disk Read Rate, Disk Read Failures, Disk Write Failures, Total Disk Create Rate, Disk Update Rate

          Hi Ashwin Govindarajulu,

Discussed with Pavel Blagodov When we create the document and we have 1 replica - we would expect to see 2 Total Disk Create Rate / s
Then when we updated the document its means we see a double of Disk Update Rate / s to 4.

Therefore we would expect the "Total Disk Create Rate" and "Disk update rate" stats are reporting non-zero values in the Dashboard.
Is this concern that the rates don't return to zero?

          thanks

Yes Daniel Owen. Since we don't have any active mutations, I expect this stat to report as '0'

Ashwin Govindarajulu , ah, right it should be rate. Please, pay attention that we have 20s delay in UI charts but I will check it in any case. Thank you.
