    Description

      – Found Java: /tmp/test5/server_build/jdk.exploded/openjdk-11.0.14+9/bin/java (found version "11.0.14") found components: Development
      – JAVA_HOME: /private/tmp/test5/server_build/jdk.exploded/openjdk-11.0.14+9
      – Creating JRE using jlink
      Error: Module jdk.internal.vm.ci not found
      CMake Error at analytics/cmake/Modules/FindCouchbaseJava.cmake:191 (MESSAGE):

The following jmods are not available on Mac's arm64:

      jdk.aot.jmod
      jdk.internal.vm.ci.jmod
      jdk.internal.vm.compiler.jmod
      jdk.internal.vm.compiler.management.jmod

It is not straightforward to reproduce at the moment since we still have cbdeps not ready for M1 yet.  In order to attempt a build on M1, one will need to change v8 to 9.7.37-cb2 in tlm/deps/manifest.cmake or apply a gerrit patch from https://review.couchbase.org/c/tlm/+/172226.

            Hi Ming Ho ,
Is this still an issue or has that been resolved by the evolution of JDKs?

Note this appears to have been fixed sometime between when the MB was raised and now - I see the following CMake output around the JVM:

-- Found Java: /Users/dave/repos/couchbase/server/master-arm64/build/jdk.exploded/openjdk-17.0.3+7/bin/java (found version "17.0.3") found components: Development
            -- JAVA_HOME: /Users/dave/repos/couchbase/server/master-arm64/build/jdk.exploded/openjdk-17.0.3+7
            -- Creating JRE using jlink
-- Using JRE Java executable at /Users/dave/repos/couchbase/server/master-arm64/build/jre.exploded/bin/java
            -- Found Maven executable: /Users/dave/repos/couchbase/server/master-arm64/build/tlm/deps/maven.exploded/bin/mvn

And analytics appears to successfully build.

Note that while analytics does successfully build, I cannot test it out as cluster_run isn't working for arm64 - see MB-54404.

I am able to build natively on M1 now.
