"N1ql WHERE" box in document page can use better query to get documents

Can we use a better n1ql query that would fetch the documents directly instead of the list of keys to fetch when a user try the "N1ql where" box ?
Seems unnecessary to execute a query to fetch keys and then fetch the documents through ns_server CRUD API's.
