    Description

Setup Cluster A, with bucket 'default', populated it with data (c. 260K records)
Setup Cluster B, with bucket 'default'
Create replication configuration from 'default' on A to 'default' on B
      Re-run data loader
      Watch replication take place
Delete 'default' bucket on cluster B
      Re-run data loader

A number of problems now exist:

+ Cluster A continues to show 'Replicating' in the Replications screen, even though replication is impossible because the destination bucket no longer exists.
+ Cluster B continues to show 'Replicating' and a replication for a bucket that no longer exists is still in place

If you now re-create the bucket 'default' on Cluster b:

+ Replication configurations for Cluster A and B still exist
      + No data is replicated

The Replications screen still gives the impression that the replications are taking place correctly, but nothing is happening.
