Description
Steps:
- Initialize a single node cluster
- Load sample-bucket
- Start cbcollect from the command line using,
$ /opt/couchbase/bin/cbcollect_info /tmp/test.zip
Observation:
After cbcollect is completed successfully, seeing a random tmp dir "/tmp/tmpziovxbeq" with ~ 11MB of size on each collect
# ls -l /tmp/tmpziovxbeq/
|
total 10180
|
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8252626 Jan 9 05:45 kv_trace.json
|
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2170555 Jan 9 05:44 systemd_journal.gz
|
Due to this most of the VMs are hitting the disk full issue in consecutive runs with cbcollect
Expected behavior:
This "tmp{[0-9a-z])" dir should be removed from /tmp after cbcollect command is complete
Attaching cbcollect.zip and tmp dir contents for reference
