Capella/7.6 on Capella

Description
Hello
Overview
We are working on enhancing the trial offering in Capella. As part of this effort, we are going to offer a Perpetually free tier offering - where the trial period never expires and allows customers to use and try some aspects of Capella for as long as they wish.
But, to ensure we don't spend a lot of money by keeping the trial clusters on forever, the Capella control plane will detect inactivity on the cluster and if the cluster is not used for a certain period of time, the control plane will turn it off. This way, we will save on cost and also allow customers to use Capella where they can simply turn on the cluster and start using it again.
To be able to detect cluster inactivity, we want to look at metrics/signals from the server. One way this can be made possible is by turning on the R/W units reporting for 7.6.
Please recommend any alternatives and also please confirm if this change can be made as part of the 7.6 server version launch for Capella.
