Description
Continuation from AV-73583 / MB-60986.
We see a performance regression of ~25% in 7.6.0 when compared to 7.2.4, when 7.6.0 is set to use the same number of NonIO threads.
For the purposes of unblocking Trinity release, we've reverted 7.6.0 to use the same number of NonIO threads as 7.1.x, as that brings 7.6.0 performance to 7.2.4 levels on the 7.5M documents x 5-bucket load test.
CB Version | NonIO threads as % CPUs | Result |
---|---|---|
7.1.0-7.1.5 | 30% | N/A |
7.2.0-7.2.4 | 50% | baseline |
7.6.0 | 50% | regression |
7.6.0 | 30% | no regression |
