Misleading error when you try to create a vector search index on Mac

    Description

      Didn't realize that vector search was only supported on Linux.

      So, when I tried to create on Mac ( 7.6.0 build 2176 ), spent some time trying to figure out what this error meant:
      “vector typed fields not supported in mixed version cluster”
