BHIVE: Explict Control of Creation/Deletion of Checkpoint

Currently, Magma automatically manages checkpoint based on time interval or data growth. For BHIVE, it needs to explicit control when to create and delete a checkpoint for recovery and rollback. It also needs to be able to retain multiple checkpoints.
