    Description

Migration of a bucket from couchstore to magma (and vice versa) can be done by changing the storageBackend setting.

      (Refer https://docs.couchbase.com/server/current/manage/manage-buckets/migrate-bucket.html#perform_migration)

However this does not take into effect until the swap rebalance (or graceful failover + recovery) is done for each node containing the bucket. The enhancement request is to make this explicit in the UI.

      • Enhancements to inform the customer in the product itself, that they should be doing a swap rebalance/graceful failover of the nodes and add back to complete Storage Backend Migration introduced in 7.6.0.
      • Essentially, it's crucial for the status to reflect that a change has been made but hasn't yet taken effect. This would greatly enhance user-friendliness.
