Just an FYI to both of you. With the current backlog, This will probably be handled sometime in February.

        Hi Anil,

        In short No.

I'm talking to Bin now and he is saying that Andre should be able to create these examples if he does not already have them.

Other from Bin is he does not understand why we need Windows examples as he believes the command is the same across platforms.

I think we need to get with Andre and go over all the examples needed (if there are any that are too trivial and we omit, and also what are the top command/command-option variations). I also need to get your call on the Windows point Bin is making.

        Regards,

        Karen

Bin - Can you confirm whether all the commands here http://www.couchbase.com/docs/couchbase-manual-2.0/couchbase-cli-other-examples.html will work fine on "Windows" ? If that's the case then we can remove the "Shell>" from the current examples so that its platform agnostic.

The basic understanding about couchbase-cli is that it is written in python and it is cross platform.
On linux, it runs under shell window and on windows, it runs under cmd window. Other than it, both input parameters and output will be identical on either platform.

Karen, as Bin confirmed above this commands will work fine on both Linux and Windows. So please remove the Shell> from the examples and also mention that examples works both on windows and linux.
