Description
In Couchbase Server 5.0 onwards, all view engine activity is protected via auth.
In previous versions if your bucket didn't have a password you did not have to provide authentication with your HTTP request.
This means that the 1.x .NET client is broken with views on password-less buckets and Couchbase Server 5.x+.
This release line is long past EOL, so this will not be fixed, but I have raised this NCBC for future reference if people come across the same issue.
Error message:
Error: Could not connect to view
|
Workaround:
Add a password to your bucket user and set this password in your application.
Solution:
Upgrade to .NET 2.x where this is not an issue.
