no documentation for content_as

I was trying to explore what I can do with content_as and did find that I could get a dict in addition to a string. It looks like, digging through the code, this comes down to what python pickling is able to do.

I can't find any documentation blocks that indicate what the possible arguments are and I could not build the documentation.
