Description
We are currently using Spymemcache as a java client for our company specific managed memcache.
It seems like the default serializing transcoder is geared toward Couchbase specifically? I could not find any useful documentation other than an [old ticket|http://review.couchbase.org/c/spymemcached/+/10260/] describing why a check to isJsonObject was added. Because of the limitations of our memcache solution, we are storing the objects as json but would like the option to compress them. Rewriting the entire transcoder for a single line seems like overkill, so I would like to submit a pull request to keep the default behavior but make the compression configurable for json, would the project be open to something like this? or is there a reason this is not already an option?
Thanks for any feedback!
