    Description

      This task is to disable the compression flag on the wire. Currently this is used in limited cases within tests, etc. - however, many components (such as ep-engine) get confused when they are passed an item with the bit set.

      The solution for now is therefore to disable the datatype compressed bit at the wire (validator) level so that components are guaranteed to not encounter it. The bit will be reenabled once all components can handle this feature.
