UI - Vulcan Compression off option inaccurate

Using Build 1979 of Vulcan, you have the compression options,  Off, Passive, Active and the associated info explaining each (feature included in MB-27541), see attached screenshot.

The UI is somewhat confusing here, as the Off option is described as "completely disable compression".  Without some intimate knowledge of what is happening behind the scenes an easy assumption to make here is that data in the bucket is no-longer compressed at all with the mode selected as Off.  My understanding is this isn't actually the case, data is always compressed when writing to disk regardless of the compression option used.  The info in the UI should make this clearer.
