    Description

      Use different icons for collections, views, tabular views, and typed external collections to make it easier to distinguish these different entities in the UI.

      The currently available entities can be organized as follows:

        local storage on disk no local storage
      typed   tabular view, external CSV/TSV collection
      untyped shadow collection view, external JSON collection

      We should make it easy to distinguish the different kinds of entities and their properties easily.
